Breitling Replica Don'ts

In Sticky Situations with Your Breitling Replica

There are plenty of good reasons to pick up a Breitling replica. Everyone wants to tell the time, look good, and feel great saving money. The fundamental reason that people wear replica watches is to look classy without paying an arm and a leg for it.  With replica watches you get to look high class for less.
There are plenty of places where having an expensive looking watch is excellent asset.  From the golf course with a nice set of clubs and snazzy gold shoes to the club in your sharpest duds, a replica watch can help you make a good impression on people.  There are a few circumstances, however, where having an excellent Breitling replica watch – one that looks just like the real thing – can lead to problems.

Wearing a Breitling Replica in the Projects

You don't get held up unless it looks like you've got something to fork over.  This is a simple rule.  If you go strolling through Cabrini Green (or, for those of you hooked on HBO's The Wire, The Terrace) all alone with bling, you risk serious danger of losing it – and maybe even losing your life.  Considering many replica watches are indistinguishable from the originals, it may be best to leave your Breitling replica at home if you intend to find yourself in a rough and tumble 'hood.

Fronting a Punk Rock Band

Punk rock is about image and cred.  If you find yourself fronting an Anarchist Punk band, it may be best to leave that replica Rolex at home when you head to the club to play.  The last thing you want is to look like you're forking over thousands of dollars on consumer items when you're screaming anti-capitalist diatribes into a microphone.  Save your replica watch for mom visits, take the studded wrist band to the punk show.

In Divorce Court

You may have only spent a couple hundred dollars on your Breitling replica but if your ex-wife, her lawyer and the judge catch a glimpse of it, try telling them it's a fake.  Getting caught with a high quality replica watch while going through divorce proceedings could lose you more than it would cost for a brand new authentic Breitling Navitimer.  If you find yourself in the midst of a messy divorce, leave your watch at home when you go to work.  You can check the time on your cell phone for a few hours and save yourself a few thousand dollars.
On Vacation at a Resort
This one may be a bit less obvious, but for many reasons it is an equally troublesome scenario for a fancy replica watch.  Vacationing puts you in a particularly vulnerable position because you do not have the safe haven of a home.  Whilst at the resort you are vulnerable to theft from staff and vacationers alike.  It is best not to make yourself a potential target.  Keep potential signals of extreme wealth hidden – keep a low profile – and you will be a less likely target.
Vacation should be a time of rest, not of stress.  The last thing you want is to deal with theft while overseas.  Leaving your Breitling replica at home can help things go more smoothly while you're relaxing on the beach.

Replica Rolex Daytona Racecar Driver

Daytona Replica
I never thought that objects could have special powers. But, one replica Rolex Daytona watch changed things for me.

I have often dreamed of being a NASCAR driver. One of my earliest memories is seeing Richard Petty cruise to victory at the Daytona 500 driving his classic STP Pontiac. In my early days I spent many hours with a toy race car, retracing that curves of Daytona on my parent's floor, in the basement. In my mind I was on the track, I was Richard Petty.

I suppose I never really changed all that much over the years. I grew up, sure, but there are parts of me that have always remained. Even as I worked full time in an office; even as I returned each evening to my wife and kids; even as I lay in my bed in my beautiful, quiet home – my mind traveled to that racetrack. I was trapped as a 5 year old in his parent's basement with a STP Pontiac dinky car and his mind in Richard Petty.

I rarely let my family know about my preoccupations. But sometimes, the truth slipped out. Once, while in a Saturday afternoon reverie, my wife approached me and asked me if I could pick our daughter up from her friend's house. I replied, "But I'm only on lap 179 honey! I have one quick pit stop and 20 laps to go!" She stared quizzically at me and went to pick up our daughter herself.

Despite my best efforts to bury my Daytona love, my family clearly figured out what was going on. For my fortieth birthday, along with throwing me a lovely party, my wife and two daughters presented me with a beautiful replica Rolex Daytona watch. My oldest daughter handed over the gift with a sly wink…they were on to me, but they didn't mind my obsession.

I appreciated the gift. I've always been a fan of Rolex and the replica Rolex Daytona they gave me was identical to the real thing. But, it was no substitute for the dream of actually racing. I put on a show for them, making them think that the gift was perfect. But, deep inside, I was crying, for my dream of being a racecar driver was finally starting to die.

In the days that followed the birthday party, things started to change in me. One morning, I woke with a strong urge to grow a mustache. Within three weeks I had a mean patch of dark hair on my upper lip. When looking through the attic, I found a white cowboy hat that I had never had the guts to wear. I found its way to my head, and rarely came off. I developed a distinct Southern drawl, though I was born and raised in the North West. All the while, I never took off my replica watch.

My family, understandably, had grown suspicious. There suspicions lead to fears when, three days before the 2005 Daytona 500, I disappeared. For my part, I don’t remember a thing, so the following leg of this story comes to you from what my wife has told me.

After I had been gone for two days, and my family could not find me anywhere, my wife took a leap of faith based in intuition. Believing that I must be at the Daytona 500, she booked a ticket from Portland to Florida and headed for the racetrack. At the airport she rented a car and made a bee line for Daytona Beach. She told me that she had no idea how she would find me amongst the throngs of NASCAR fans, but she knew that she would

She was 20 miles from Daytona when she noticed the billboard. Replica Daytona 500, read the words, and the image was a picture of Richard Petty…no..…of…. ME! This Richard Petty looked just me - the 'ME' that I had slowly morphed into over the passed year.

My wife got off at the next exit, and headed for the replica Daytona 500 speedway. She arrived just in time to see me - or replica Richard Petty – take the checkered flag.

It wasn't until she met me at the podium and removed my replica Rolex Daytona that I snapped back to reality. It seems my replica Rolex Daytona had turned me into a replica Daytona 500 racecar driver. My dreams had (sort of) come true. I only wish I could remember that race.
